Excellent Hotel in Gothic Quarter
helpful staff central location
I found the staff very professional and helpful. My room was clean and spacious. The location is central. I appreciated the really good welcome at the front desk. The rooftop terrace offered great views of the surrounding area.

The rooftop bar offers a great view of the city and surrounding areas. There is no restaurant. Staff are not always available on the rooftop terrace, so guests must get their drinks from the lobby bar.

warm greeting room balcony ideal location
the staff greeted us warmly and efficiently. my room had a nice balcony, a feature i valued. the location proved ideal, it gave easy access to nearby attractions and cultural sites.
the noise from the nearby plaza continued late into the night, it somewhat disrupted my sleep

The location was convenient. The staff were professional. My room included a big-screen tv. The bathroom was large.
The hotel lacked a proper lobby. I had to get my own drinks at the bar. The rooftop bar was only half open. There were no snacks available.

street noise missing amenities
i was quite disappointed by a couple of things. first, the lack of soundproofing was a problem. i could easily hear street noise, even with earplugs that the hotel provided and i also did not like that the cleaning staff sometimes missed replacing amenities in the room. it was a bit frustrating to discover a missing towel or sugar for coffee after a long day.
